Der unselige Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine geht mittlerweile in die vierte Woche und wir von Kitreviewsonline haben uns bislang aus Rücksicht auf die Ukraine mit aktuellen Reviews sehr zurückgehalten – die Pietät verbot uns einfach, „business as usual“ zu betreiben während unsere Freunde in Kiew, Dnipro und der ganzen Ukraine unter Raketenbeschuss stehen!
Wir hatten ja schon dazu aufgerufen, für die Zeit des Krieges auf den Kauf russischer Modellbauprodukte zu verzichten – ein Aufruf von Vladimir Sulc, Chef von Eduard aus Tschechien, ist nun auch für uns Anlass, seinem Beispiel zu folgen:

Modelers often respond to such words with the objection that politics do not belong in
modeling, and model companies like us should not comment on such themes. There comes a point, though, where the bounds of decency are transgressed so severely that a stand needs to be taken. And so, again… Here we are. Silence and ignoring evil are often the quickest way to hell. The war in the Ukraine clearly shows how politics harshly and ruthlessly affect our lives, our work, and even our hobbies.
At least twenty modeling companies are based in the Ukraine, and their very existence is now in doubt. Many of their employees have been evacuated, many have gone to the front to defend their country and their families, and fighting is taking place in the immediate vicinity of their homes and corporate headquarters.
Support them, buy their products.
Help them overcome these dark days, and support them even after this dumb war is over. You know what those companies can do, they do honest work and they are an important part of
the modeling community. Without them, modeling would not be what it is. Don’t let them fall!

They need your money more than we do.“Das sind wahre Worte und dass einer der Hauptproduzenten dazu aufruft, seine „Konkurrenz“ in der Ukraine zu unterstützen anstatt Eduard-Produkte zu kaufen, hat uns davon überzeugt, dass die rein moralische Unterstützung, die wir zu leisten versuchen, nun ergänzt werden muss durch eine finanzkräftige Unterstützung unserer ukrainischen Freunde!
Deshalb werden wir unsere Arbeit der Besprechungen neuer Modellbauprodukte wieder aufnehmen und unseren Fokus auf Bausätze und Zubehör ukrainischer Hersteller legen.
Unterstützen wir alle unsere Freunde in der Ukraine, indem wir deren Produkte kaufen und so einen kleinen Beitrag zum Wiederaufbau leisten!
